Paramount Trades and Labour are pleased to announce that we now have our own in house Face Fit and Manual Handling trainers.

Why Manual Handling Training?
Injuries caused by poor lifting techniques are one of the most common causes of prolonged time of work in the UK. Musculoskeletal disorders are also a growing source of civil compensation claims as a significant amount of injuries lead to time off work and with the employee suffering a loss.  A full recovery is not always made from a musculoskeletal injury.  Employers have a duty to avoid hazardous manual handling and where manual handling cannot be eliminated the employer must provide training.

February Worker of The Month

Well done to Ionut Claudiu Trandafir Paramount’s Worker of the month for February. He was recommended for the award by S&T (UK) Ltd Operations Manager Graham Horwood.

Graham is currently overseeing a fast paced hotel project at Heathrow’s Terminal 4, on presenting the award to Claudiu Graham commented that the award was recognition for all the hard work and commitment that Claudiu had shown whilst here on the project.
