As the situation surrounding the new coronavirus, COVID-19, continues to develop, we want to keep you updated.

In line with UK government guidance, anyone who has not been double vaccinated has to stay at home and not to leave your house for 10 days from when they tested positive. If you are double-jabbed and have no symptoms, you can end self-isolation on day 5 after 2 negative lateral flow tests. Stay at home guidance.

Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. You can access NHS 111 online for advice and emergency prescriptions.

The most common symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are recent onset of:

  •  new continuous cough and/or
  •  high temperature
  •  loss of taste or smell

You can book a free Covid-19 test online.

If you are being paid through PAYE umbrella you might be entitled to statutory sick pay if you are forced to self-isolate. You can claim up to 14 days without a fit note from your GP.

To be able to claim you must have been told to self-isolate by the NHS website, NHS Test and Trace, NHS 111, NHS 111 online  or NHS inform; and then get an isolation note.

If you are self-employed or have a LTD Company you are not entitled to statutory sick pay, however there is now £500 government grant available if you have been asked to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace.

This can to be claimed from your local authority. Please check your what documentation is required here.

If you have to travel to work you are now able to get a test even if you have no symptoms.
